Wobble Worship began as a team of five individuals who met aboard the Mercy Ship Anastasis while completing a Discipleship Training School in 2001: David, James, and Shannon from the United States; Crystal from Canada; and Egbert from The Netherlands. During their time together, they found a shared passion for worship which transcended age, nationality, culture and denomination. Afterwards, they felt God's leading to continue as a ministry which would bring intimate worship into the streets of the world. A well-received summer worship tour of the United States followed, confirming God's hand in the formation of the ministry. In 2005, four of them returned to the Anastasis for the Togo outreach, where it became evident that even a busy work schedule would not deter this group from worship, which led to the invitation to become an official Mercy Ships ministry team. God brought some special people alongside the original four members to provide a richer musical texture as well as the blessing that comes from working with others sharing the same love of worship! Rejoicing in the privilege of an honest, personal relationship with their almighty Redeemer; and convinced that a lifestyle of continuous worship is the only reasonable response to such a relationship, this team is committed to sharing His love through music, drama, teaching, and personal encouragement.
Our vision is simply to share the joy of experiencing the presence of God, to assure hurting people that God indeed loves them and delights in them! We hope to communicate His passionate desire to walk with each of us on a daily basis and stir up the hearts of people to know God more deeply, that all of life may be lived in worship of their Almighty Redeemer!
